What else we do

The rest happens here too.

A car coming out of the booth is not always finished. There is often leather left to redo, or a film to lay on the front before it goes back on the road. We send it nowhere. It is done in the hall, by our own team.

We come and get it from your door

Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy. You give us the address and the access, we sort out the truck. Transport is priced with the work quote, not separately.

  • Open trailer or enclosed truck, depending on the car and the weather
  • Strapped by the wheels, never by the suspension arms
  • Winched on when the car no longer rolls
  • Photographs at every stage of the job that matters
  • Brought back to you once the car has been road tested

Redoing the cabin without changing the car

Leather, alcantara, a headlining coming away, tired carpets. The trimmer works in the workshop, on the car, not on seats shipped to the other end of the country. On an older car we look for the original grain and stitch before cutting anything.

  • Seats retrimmed in leather or alcantara
  • Sagging headlining lifted and refitted on new foam
  • Carpets and door cards cut from the old ones
  • Stitch and grain chosen from the original trim
  • Spot repairs on a burn or a seam letting go

Film onto the paint, not onto the flaws

Film goes onto clean paint, otherwise it locks in whatever sits underneath. We correct the clearcoat first, decontaminate, then lay the film. Trim taken off rather than worked around, edges tucked under the bonnet, so that no cut line shows.

  • Full front end, or the whole car
  • Clearcoat corrected before the film goes on
  • Trim taken off rather than worked around
  • Edges tucked under bonnets and doors
  • Coloured wrap or satin finish if you would rather change the colour

Giving the paint back what time took from it

Dull paint is not always worn out. Most of the time it is finely scratched, and that comes back with a polish under a lamp. We measure the thickness before touching it, because on original paint it is better to leave a fine scratch than to eat into the clearcoat.

  • Clearcoat thickness measured before any correction
  • One or two passes, checked under a lamp
  • Ceramic coating or wax, depending on how the car is used
  • Cabin gone over, leather fed, plastics brought back
  • Brought back to its best before a sale or a show
